  Ed married an indian woman. She was left on a door step, abandoned by her mother and tribe. Perhaps she had a white father and therefor would not have been accepted by her tribe. Ed was a builder. He built the furniture in the courthouses and many of the barns in the area. They are marked with the E Thomas on the bottom.
