101 | This young man got into trouble and left Virginia. He killed a man. So he asked his 17 year old brother, Hazlett to run away with him. They left the state of Virginia in the dark of the night. Somewhere along the way they parted company. Morgan traveled southwest to Texas and made good. He was a lawyer and quite wealthy. Hazlett came to his sister, Margaret Thrasher. He married and settled around the Smithville area. This information about Morgan given in 1986 by Brenda Barrett Johnson. 105 | Urmey B. Chambers was a farmer and relief mail carrier in Harrodsburg. He was a member of the Assemby of God Church in Harrodsburg and Southern Monroe water works board. Long before all this he had been a school teacher. He taught a year at Harrodsburg, at Smithville and at Needmore. 107 | Waneeta played the piano. She liked craft and was active in organizations. She was killed when hit by a car. She had gone to the mailbox and was standing beside the road, top of Guthrie Hill. No one knows if she just stepped in front of the car or he swurved and hit her. She was dead at the scene of the accident. As she was an only child her estate went to the Barrett and Grave Heirs. 108 | Wilbur loved dogs, always had one in his home. He collected jugs, tiny watch fobs to large bottle jugs. He always had a few chickens and kept sheep on his small acreage, south in Harrodsburg. Located between the old state roads of 37. Wilbur worked at stone quarries in Monroe County until he retired. Mabel worked at Indiana University until she retired. Wibur had Palsy tremors and was bedfast the last years of his life. Mabel kept him home - tended and cared for him. 110 | WINEPARK JUDAH, M.D., was born in Bloomington, Monroe Co., Ind., March 5, 1842, the second of eleven children born to David B. and Emma (Parks) Judah. Subject was educated at the State University, Bloomington. His father's occupation was tanning, and the son learned that business at an early age. In May, 1862, he enlisted in Company A, Fifty-fourth Indiana Volunteer Infantry, and was mustered out in September, 1862, his term having expired. In July, 1863, he again enlisted in Company E., One Hundred and Seventeenth Regiment Indiana Volunteer Infantry, and was promoted to Sergeant in February, 1864; in the battle of Walker's Ford he lost his hearing, which he has never entirely regained. After his discharge in 1864 he acted in the capacity of Recruiting Officer and Assistant Provost Marshall for Monroe County. June 9, 1865, he was married to Minerva A. Duncan, and nine children have been born to them, seven of whom are living: Lena M., William B., Mary A., Walter C., Winepark J., Stilson and Nellie. Mr. Judah keeps the only hotel in the village of Guthrie, and keeps a good house. The Doctor is an A. F. & A. M. and a Democrat.
